It’s so important to give children the skill to do this but we know it needs to be taught in a fun way. So, we’ve created an illustrated book for children (aged 5+) and their parents.

Sensory Reliving
Did you know that we can regulate difficult emotions by reliving the sensory memory of past events?

In “Sensory Reliving“, Luc describes how the root cause of any undesirable emotion is always linked to a trauma recorded in our body’s memory, and that in turn produces a specific set of physical sensations. We have a natural capacity to use these physical sensations to relive our trauma in a sensory way and regulate it permanently. Ultimately, everybody can regulate their emotions by themselves.

Get your children to learn how to regulate their emotions with a Tipi teacher

Children are very attuned to their capacity to regulate their emotions and they can very easily and quickly learn how to use this natural capacity when in emotional difficulty.

We have created a new workshop for children aged 5 to 10 years old where they can learn how to use their natural capacity for emotional regulation by themselves. This short workshop is provided by certified teachers who have been trained specifically for this purpose. At the end of the training, your child will be able to permanently regulate their emotions in the moment that they arise.

This workshop is be part of the launch of a new children’s ebook Not Afraid Anymore! published by Éditions Émotion Forte. The illustrated ebook is for children (aged 5+) and their parents. (When children participate in a workshop or individual training, they will receive a free copy of the e-book).


We can teach children to use their natural capacity for emotional regulation

By using practical exercises, always based on their own knowledge, experiences, and thoughts, children will investigate:

  • What is an emotion?
  • How does an unpleasant emotion manifest in the body?
  • How do I regulate an unpleasant emotion in the body by using my hands to follow them?
  • How do I know if an unpleasant emotion has been completely and permanently regulated?

Individual training
During our 45-minute individual training sessions, your children will learn how to use their natural capacity to regulate their emotions in the moment that they experience an unpleasant emotion.

If your child is used to learning online using video conferencing, then we have the option to learn online with a Tipi teacher.  

Workshops (maximum 10 children)
During this one-hour workshop, children will learn how to use their natural capacity to regulate their emotions in the moment that they experience an unpleasant emotion. Like the individual training, they can participate in an online workshop.

Remember, each child who participates in a workshop or individual session will receive a copy  Not Afraid Anymore! to help them revisit how to regulate unpleasant emotions. (They can read the book alone or with friends and family.)

You or your teenager can learn how to regulate emotions with the help of a Tipi teacher

Tipi emotional regulation is about accessing your sensory memories – we can all regulate our emotions because there is no need for in-depth knowledge and extensive technical expertise.

If you’re over the age of 10, you can learn how to do this with the help of a Tipi teacher in two ways:

1. Individual training
Over two 45 minutes sessions (face to face or online), you will learn how to regulate your emotions the instant the emotional difficulty arises.

These short individual training sessions are provided by certified teachers who are trained specifically to provide this type of training.

2. A small group workshop 
During these two 1-hour group training sessions, you will learn how to regulate your emotions the instant the emotional difficulty arises.

The sessions are not only practical and interactive, but they also always include time for questions at the end.

You can learn how to help your friends and family regulate their emotions.

With this training, you will learn how to help children (2 years plus), teenagers and adults directly ‘in situation’ when they are experiencing emotional distress. The sessions will be provided in-person or online, and the training consists of theory and practical exercises based on role-plays, using examples provided by the participant.

It is open to anyone who wants to help their friends and family when they are experiencing emotional distress such as fear, stress, anxiety, panic, inhibition, phobia, aggression, anger, and so on. This training also gives you the ability to step in when children from 2-10 yrs old are emotionally disturbed (anger, sadness, distress, inhibition etc.) and help soothe their distress and regulate their emotional difficulty.

Note: this training is not appropriate for professionals who want to use emotional regulation as part of their job. For example, healthcare professionals, emergency service professionals, educators, sports professionals, and business managers. For that please visit our site for professionals.


How long is the training?
It takes place over two sessions, 2 weeks apart. Each session lasts 2 hours and you have to attend both sessions.

How much does it cost?
280€ for two x 2hr training sessions.
